Women in Leadership Programme
Duo have designed a unique programme to equip ambitious business women with a complete leadership toolkit to increase their leadership impact, and creating lasting personal and professional change.
Women can often face unique challenges in leadership positions, and still occupy only 7% of CEO positions in the Fortune 500. Research shows however, that companies with a proportion of female leadership and more diversity at board level, enjoy significantly better financial performance and higher levels of growth.
This programme is designed for female leaders and managers, in a senior management position, who are looking to elevate their leadership impact and unlock higher levels of growth for individually, and for their business.
Delivered by two successful women leaders, with experience of running leadership retreats with female leaders at all levels, the programme will provide key insight into the thinking, beliefs and behaviours of successful women leaders and the real challenges that can occur in a constantly changing business environment.
Six Modules of Core Content
You will gain access to six full days of content covering key leadership topics developed through years of working with women leaders at all levels.
1-2-1 Coaching Session
Whether on our online programme, or part of our face to face delivery, you will receive an individual 1-2-1 coaching session with either Sarah or Laura.
From each module you will be provided with a complete toolkit and set of resources to integrate into your business in between each module.
Choose Your Experience
The Women In Leadership Programme has three experiences to choose from, depending on your learning preferences and budget.
You can either work with us via our online pre-recorded programme, via a hybrid version which includes six live group online coaching sessions, or as part of our face to face programme with other female leaders, run twice each year. Please note, our face to face programme is currently on hold due to the current pandemic, but we have spaces on our hybrid live online programme.
Before deciding anything, we know how important it is to get to know the people you choose to work with, so we put together a free recorded webinar as a taster session, in partnership with Scale Up North East.
In this free recorded session we look at a couple of the topics we cover in the programme, and focus on the thinking, beliefs and behaviours of successful women leaders, and the real challenges that can occur in a constantly changing business environment.
Laura Weaving, Managing Director
Laura is the Founder and MD of Duo, and has an extensive background in organisational culture change, recruitment, and leadership development. Prior to establishing Duo, Laura set up and lead several other high growth international businesses, providing her with key experience in navigating the leadership complexities different organisations face.
In addition to leading the vision for Duo, and delivering strategic insight and leadership facilitation for clients, Laura also holds a number of external positions in other high growth businesses, and boards, giving her a well rounded view of the people challenges, and solutions, needed for high growth businesses to be successful.
Sarah Callender, Commercial Director
Sarah is the Commercial Director of Duo, driving the commercial strategy both internally, and with clients. Sarah’s wealth of business and leadership knowledge perfectly places her to work with growth focussed businesses and leadership teams on managing people and navigating strategic change. Her previous experience includes co-founding and leading a number of businesses – focussing on taking new products and services to market, managing projects and leading on investment decisions.
Add to this, her current external positions on a number of steering groups and boards, give her invaluable insight into the leadership challenges high growth businesses face.
